A passion for the property industry has been in Oliver Meddick’s blood from a very young age. He has always had a hunger to achieve real change for clients in terms of service levels through multiple sectors. With a background in conveyancing, Oliver uses his expertise to spot areas for improvement within the process and is driven to enhance the experience for clients, resulting in a higher level of service.
1996 – 1998 At college studying Construction and the Built Environment
1998 – 1999 Worked in Black Horse Estate Agents while at college conducting all the viewings during weekends and evenings before going full-time. Then moved Shipman Estate Agents to become a negotiator
1999 – 2010 Worked for the family conveyancing business, David Meddick and Co Limited, working up from archive boy to Director and fully qualified Licensed conveyancer. He was in charge of developing and maintaining new and profitable work streams via introducers including: LMS, estate agents, and financial advisers
2007 – 2010 Started a lettings company with David Meddick and Co Limited and Andy Coley which eventually sold to Andy in early 2010
2010 – 2014 Bought Exchanges Letting Company where he developed the portfolio and also started a sales arm by buying Alexander and Payne Estate Estates. The companies were sold and rebranded in 2014
2013 – 2016 Started and ran East Anglia Valeting services where they looked after some of the largest car dealerships in Norfolk
2016 – 2017 Retuned to conveyancing, firstly with a Hawkins Ryan, with the sole purpose to generate more work for them and then moved to Notary Express as a consultant to work as a conveyancer, generating all his own work.
2017 – present Co-founder and COO of The Move Home Group
